Digital Images

Banner Image

Our first image project was to create a banner image for a website focused around parenting. I wanted to portray the idea of looking into the future...motivation from "train up a child in the way he should go". I thought the two foreground images showed future, wishing, and hoping; and the background was distraction-free to display the message of the foreground images.

Icon

The same website, focused on parenting, was also in need of an icon that showcased human interaction displayed in only 3 colors.

Final Image

Our final imaging project was to create a new and improved image using photoshop techniques. I chose to overlay 2 images by taking the sky from another picture and laying it over the baseball player and field.

Digital Audio

With the help of Garage Band, I created an mp3 file containing 3 tracks, two with voices and one with music, that overlapped, faded, included sound effects, and told a story. As a middle school project, we have been finding things to be happy about, a reason to laugh every hour, and a positive action to do for someone else each day. I thought this would be a good opportunity to capture some of those laughs and share. The kids loved hearing each other's different laughs; and I used their favorite quotes.
